Cardi B Sweetens Up the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Audience in Pale Pink Dress
The rapper made an unforgettable exit in custom Dsquared2. Cardi B is fresh on the scene!
The “Bartier Cardi” rapper made an epic entrance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City Oct. 15 in custom Dsquared2.
Her look was a remake of the label’s FW24 Look 16. While the runway dress was knee-length, Cardi B’s nearly hit the ground. She topped off her dress with a furry coat which sat off her shoulders, added a statement necklace to complete the look and wore her hair in old Hollywood curls.
Her appearance comes days after the mom of three celebrated her 32nd birthday with a star-studded bash (after which she vowed to “never drink again”).
Cardi B’s latest fashion-forward look follows the “thotty” party dress she wore for her celebration. In an Instagram post, Cardi B revealed the story behind the look to fans.
“The dress I was gonna wear for my birthday was a little too small and there wasn’t enough fabric… so I got my a– in a truck and went to Staten Dolls Gentlemen’s Club where I worked at for four years and bought this little dress because baby NOTHING was gonna stop this night…” the “Wanna Be” rapper said.
Cardi B has been jet setting around the world since late September.
On Sept. 25 — 18 days after giving birth to her and Offset’s third child (the two also share son Wave, 3, and daughter Kulture, 6) she appeared at Paris Fashion week.
That day, the star appeared at a Rabanne show in a look that was giving Shakira vibes, then shortly thereafter, at a Balmain show.
On Sept. 26, she went to the Messika, Mugler and Rick Owens, we well as to a Dazed & Byredo PFW Party.
Cardi B capped off her whirlwind few days at Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood and McQueen.
True to form, she wore vastly different looks, complete with wig changes, to each event.
“Paris, you owe me nothing!” she captioned an Instagram post that captured her stay.
